So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

SALVATION
A MATTER OF LIFE & DEATH - Hebrews 9:27-28
Hebrews 9:27-28 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
Galatians 6:7-8 "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."
INTRODUCTION
A sermon inspired by John Bisagno, FBC, Houston, Texas. (The Power of Positive Preaching to the Saved, chapter 4 "How Will You Die?", Broadman Press, 1971).DEATH IS NOT FUNNY ANYMORE.
DAD & PA.
YOU DIE AS YOU LIVE.
1. DON'T DIE UNPREPARED: DIVESPREPARED FOR "THE GOOD LIFE";
UNPREPARED FOR ETERNAL LIFE.WHAT DID HE REAP? REJECTION
Luke 16:22-23 "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
2. DON'T DIE UNFAITHFUL: JUDAS"FAITHFUL" FOR A WHILE;
FAITHLESS FOREVER.WHAT DID HE REAP? REMORSE
Matthew 27:5 Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.
3. DON'T DIE UNCLEAN = DYING UNCLEAN:
ANANIAS AND SAPHIRRACLEAN ON "OUTSIDE";
UNCLEAN ON THE INSIDE.WHAT DID THEY REAP? REBUKE
Acts 5:4-5 "While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God." 5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.
4. DIE UNAFRAID: STEPHENBOLD IN LIFE;
BOLD IN DEATH.WHAT DID HE REAP? REASSURANCE
Acts 7:59-60 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin." And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
5. DIE UNASHAMED: PAULUNASHAMED IN LIFE;
UNASHAMED IN DEATH.WHAT DID HE REAP? REWARD
2 Timothy 4:6-8 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
WHAT WILL YOU FIND?
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Matthew 25:23 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
HOW WILL YOU DIE?
YOU DIE AS YOU LIVE.
IF YOU'RE READY TO DIE, YOU'RE READY TO LIVE.
